_Ode to Picasso
The Picasso museum in Barcelona has works from Picasso’s early years, some of which were spent in Barcelona. The museum is in a Gothic building in the old section of Barcelona among the very narrow walks between concrete buildings. As a glass artist, I wanted to create the feeling of the building and one painting in the depths of the museum. Ode to Picasso is more exuberant than the original painting and certainly has more texture!
