Halftone and beyond The “canvas” for this work of art was a glass design of “halftone” colors, fused and coldworked. A design of red tones was painted then glass powder was sculpted into the center of the plate. Powder was sifted onto other parts of the plate and worked to be given more texture. This required 4 firings and coldworking. The result has more depth and dimension.
